RSVP

If you're looking at this, you've probably been invited. We need RSVPs as soon as possible so that we can provide a good time for all.

In order to RSVP, click the link to the left that says "Create new account," wait for an email message that says you've been approved by us, and then log back in, here, to RSVP. I know this is a process, but it's easy for us to keep track of things if we can store them in the internet. You have to create an account so that we don't have strangers or robots spamming this comments page with messages about Viagra. Email or call us if you have any trouble with the account-creation/logging-in process

Here's what we need to know:

  • Who are you?
  • How many guests are you bringing? Who are they?
  • Are you bringing a dog? (Dogs are welcome, up to a certain number of dogs. After that number of dogs has been reached, any more dogs is just too many dogs.)

If applicable:

  • Do you need help finding/arranging lodging?
  • Monetary restrictions?
  • Dietary restrictions?
  • Special arrangements?
  • Advice about Fairfax and the DC metro area?

Please email us directly if you don't want to post on an open forum.

If you choose to come to the beach party in the Outer Banks in the Summer 2014 instead of (or in addition to) the ceremony, please mention BEACH in your post, and we'll contact you separately when the time comes.

I am bowen and I am coming to the wedding and to the Beach party. I can house one guest or one couple in need of cheap housing for the wedding. Ask caren if you are poor and they run out of space. I might bring skyler but it depends on what other dogs will be there.

Mom and I will attend Merzhaus wedding. Strandhaus TBD though I am planning to. We'll probs get a hotel or VRBO and DC it up before & after. I will most likely leave my furchild home though Mom might bring hers. It's a YorkiePoo and will make a nice snack for Gus, or it will be his best friend. We'll see.

Hello, countrymen, and thank you for the invitation to your upcoming wedding. I will be attending both celebrations with one "man," one pig-dog, and a HEALTHY appetite! Please let me know with at least six months' notice if there will be any fancy elk roaming the grounds. Please let me know, in the future, if plans, should, change.

Rob and Kathy will be at the wedding will probably drive and stay in our travel trailer. Would like to bring our dogs to the wedding two black lab mixes Lily and Tami 50lb dogs very friendly. I'm thinking we will arrive Wed and leave Sat, will probably stay at Ft Belvoir travel camp.

Yay, so glad you both will be able to come; Lily and Tami are welcome, too!
I looked up the travel camp, and it's not terribly far away (36 mins, if you hadn't already looked it up).

You should be able to park the camper on the street, or somewhere nearby...we can figure this out at the time approaches. We also have a dog-friendly friend who lives out there that you all could probably hitch a ride with.

Mike & Lisa will be driving in on Wed 10/31and leaving on Fri 11/1. We have reservations at the Stafford House B&B in Fairfax. Dogs are staying home.
