Potluck RSVP

Merzwedding is a potluck event. We will provide the main course, beverages, adult beverages, cake(s), Indian sweets, and some et ceteras. We'll need your help with a few other side dishes. We'd love for you to bring a family recipe that means a lot to you, or something you think you make really well.

If you're coming in from out of town, please don't worry about cooking...unless you really want to. Things like this would be great: cheese, olives, chips and guacamole, nuts, veggies, or your favorite beer/ wine. If you do cook, don't forget to bring the recipe! That would mean a lot to us.

We'll keep track of the potluck items right here based on the feedback we receive via email. You can also feel free to make a comment, below, with the item you're bringing. I'll update the list. It will all work out just fine. And if we get 10 trays of brownies, well...it's a potluck. There's a grocery store close by should we have a food emergency. We will have a bonfire, so if you feel like roasting something over it (marshmallows, chestnuts, meat on a stick), bring your own roastables.

*If you let me know what you're bringing ahead of time, I'll be able to print a nice label for it.

I will make and bring many loaves of Irish soda bread. How many do you think you'll need?

Yes!! Thank you so much! Erm...50 ish people, so, 2 or 3 loaves? Dunno if everyone will eat (or need to eat) a full slice.

And bring the recipe if you're willing to give it away. I've been trying to get it right for years.

I will bring appetizers of various sorts.
